Amanda Kane
I am a coastal girl living out my dream of being a family photographer in the gorgeous Charleston, SC. When I'm not shooting sessions, you can find me at home with my husband Ryan and our two big dogs, Ecko and Finn. If you need to know anything about me, it's that blue is my favorite color, I am goofy around people I'm comfortable with and I may be a bit obsessed with decorating and renovating our blue Charleston home.
Looking back on my own experiences as a mother, the thing I am always surprised by is how fast kids change and grow! At times it can feel like certain seasons last forever, but then you blink and everything is different. At the end of the day when you are looking back on your life, your photos are what you have to bring you back to those precious moments.
To help curate these images for you, I strive to connect with you and your unique family story. When you take a moment to admire these heirlooms I want you to feel the joy you felt, remember the excitement and the chaos that is motherhood.
I use a combination of gently posed portraits and fun prompts to capture your family's genuine personality. I want you to feel comfortable and secure enough to be your true selves in front of my camera. I can't wait to meet you!

Ryan and I got married in 2020 in Wilmington, NC. He is my adventure partner, my biggest supporter, such a kind human being and an amazing dad. He is extremely goofy, super smart and I couldn't do life without him.
Declan Carter joined our family in July of 2023, on Ryan's birthday! Being a toddler mom is no joke, but he is just so full of personality and I absolutely love him to pieces!!
Ecko was Ryan's dog before we started dating. He is lovingly referred to as 'grumpus' and is definitely too smart for his own good. He loves getting face rubs, and is obsessed with Ryan's mom and grandma.
Finn was our post-wedding present to each other. All my life I'd wanted a golden retriever so this was a dream come true. Finn (aka baby floof) is extra cuddly, loves giving kisses and stealing socks.
