Heather reached out to me about doing their family session after I did her daughter’s senior session at Clemson! We settled on a date at the beginning of June after Ryan and I got back from our Italy trip. We decided to shoot their session at Furman University because it is a beautiful campus! I met Heather and her family at the bell tower for a sunny waterfront session. This was my first time shooting at Furman for a portrait session. I had shot here once before for a wedding at the chapel, but didn’t really have time to explore the campus. I had heard great things about Furman as a session location and now I see why! The landscaping is stunning and this spot by the bell tower was just perfect.

Heather has 4 kids; Olivia, Riley, JC and Ellis. It was such a pleasure working with all of them! They are the kindest, sweetest little family and made it so easy. Not only were their outfits on point, they also just had an easy-going demeanor and were full of smiles! Also, can we just take a moment to appreciate how AMAZING Heather looks! I seriously hope I look half as good as she does, having grown kids. Heather and I chatted a bit about their outfits and how much I LOVED her dress. She said she got it from RTR so I went on and found it here in case you’re interested 🙂 After getting to work with Olivia previously, it was a joy to work with the rest of her family for their session at Furman.
