This sunset beach family mini session was such a fun one! Not just because the kids were so playful but because this family genuinely had fun with each other during our time together. Even though the water was a bit cold, they didn’t hesitate to splash around a little at the end. If it means I get to spend time with families like this, I’ll take getting splashed with water any day!

On a perfectly sunny evening, I met this family of boys at one of my favorite beaches for their mini session. I loved how interactive the kids were and how much you could tell they loved each other. They were silly, outgoing, so sweet, and everything you’d want your kiddos to be when having photos done. You can see so much joy within their images and that is one of the reasons this session was so perfect in so many ways.

Mama did an amazing job in selecting their outfits! She reached out to me before their mini session asking for some advice on what to wear. She also showed me examples of what they had worn for photos previously. I loved being able to help provide some tips and inspiration pieces to make this look come together!

Mindy told me that her goal for our time together was to have a fun session to show their love and happiness and to capture their little ones while they are still little. I think, at the end of the day, that’s exactly what we were able to accomplish!
