From belly laughs to bear hugs, family sessions are some of my absolute favorite to photograph. There’s just something so sweet about freezing these fleeting moments in time—messy hair, silly faces, scrunched-up baby toes and all. My goal is to make your session feel relaxed, natural, and, honestly, fun! I want everyone to feel comfortable being themselves, and that starts with a laid-back vibe where we can just hang out, play a little, and make some magic with the camera. We'll get a mix of those beautiful, frame-worthy portraits and the candid, in-between moments—like your toddler running wild, or the way your little one clings to your leg mid-snack. Whether we’re cozying up in your living room, chasing the golden light at one of Charleston's beaches, or playing peek-a-boo behind palmettos, I’ll be right there capturing it all. The goal? Photos that feel like you—full of personality, heart, and the kind of love only your family knows.

As a mom myself, I totally get that kids can be unpredictable (and let’s be real—so can life). And that’s okay! We’re not aiming for “perfect”—we’re aiming for real. Real moments, real smiles, real connection. I’ll roll with whatever mood your kiddos are in, whether they’re shy, silly, or just in it for the dessert bribe.
