My family and I hired Amanda to take some photos on the beach while we were in town for a family vacation. I loved her light airy aesthetic and what really stood out for me was the great photos she was able to capture of kids. I have two toddlers who can be unpredictable in their moods and willingness to participate but Amanda was able to bring them out of their shell and kept the mood fun and low stress. Despite it being a super windy day the photos came out beautifully and the wind just added a nice touch of drama and movement. She was friendly, professional, and communicative. 1. MATERNITY SESSION
Finding out you're expecting a new little one is such an exciting time! Those 9 months growing your newest family member can sometimes feel like a very long time, but before you know it, it comes to an end and you get to bring your new bundle into the world!
I love to help mamas capture the time of their life where that baby bump is still prominent and a reminder of the excitement yet to come. I want you to be able to look back on this time and remember what it felt like to imagine who they'd be and feeling those little kicks as they grew inside you.
These sessions typically take place around 6-7 months of pregnancy when you're belly is showing more, but you're still comfortable moving around.
2. LIFESTYLE NEWBORN
I absolutely adore these sessions that capture bringing your new baby home, as it marks a significant milestone in a family's life. It's a wonderful chance to showcase your beautifully decorated nursery or other precious details, adding a touch of personal history to the photos. These sessions beautifully encapsulate the anticipation, joy, and love surrounding the arrival of a new baby, creating lasting memories that can be cherished for years to come.
My style is relaxed and very much led by baby, so we will utilize the rooms in your home with the best light where everyone can be comfortable. This typically means the living room, bedroom, and nursery.
3. MILESTONE SESSION
Milestone sessions can take place any time between newborn and 18 months old. These sessions are designed to capture those significant turning points in your baby's life. Whether it be that they are finally sitting up on their own or walking, or maybe they just turned 1 and you want to cherish it through lasting images!
Lifestyle milestone sessions are designed to document your sweet growing family as it is in the moment. Before you know it they will be running down the beach and growing up so fast.
These sessions can take place wherever you desire. They can be in the comfort of your own home, outdoors around Charleston, out on the beach or even in one of the stunning local parks.
4. FAMILY SESSION
Family sessions are all about capturing the true essence of your family in all it's chaotic glory. I want to help you preserve those sweet little smiles, the genuine laughter, the imperfect moments and everything in between.
Your family can change so much in just one year, so I truly feel it's important to record these seasons of life before they slip away. Next year they may not fit in that same outfit or they may not want to be held anymore. Let's preserve those memories while they are still your every-day life.
