Ryan and I were lucky enough to have not only one wedding shower, but two! We didn’t go the traditional route with it being a “bridal shower”, and instead decided to opt for a wedding shower that we could both be a part of! Anyone who knows us, knows that we love the beach (if we could live there, we would) and our wedding was going to be at a coastal venue so it was fitting that our shower was beach-themed!
There were seashells, hand-painted oyster shells, driftwood decorations, and even a shell-shaped chair for me to sit on! Everything was decorated in shades of blue and the guests were all asked to wear blue as well – which is also fitting because blue is our favorite color. Everything was planned beautifully by my sister and two sister-in-laws. With all of the craziness of COVID we weren’t even sure if it was going to be possible, but we kept the guest list limited and it was a great time!
