So this shoot started out as a planned Valentine’s Day anniversary shoot for my sister and brother-in-law’s 2nd wedding anniversary. We had talked on the phone about when they were going to drive up and what day/where we wanted to shoot. We had planned a special Valentine’s Day dinner at a very nice restaurant for Thursday with them and my parents who also came to visit because their anniversary is on Valentine’s Day. We were getting ready to leave for dinner and my sister mentioned she had gotten my parents and us gifts! We felt terrible that we didn’t even think to get anyone gifts.. Little did we know that at dinner when we opened them, it would be a huge surprise! My sister is pregnant with their first baby!!

We knew they had been trying for a little over a year and it was so exciting to find out that they were finally having a baby! Ryan and I were double-excited because not only are we getting a niece or nephew, but they asked us to be the godparents and that was just so special for us 🙂 So needless to say, this anniversary shoot turned out to be a baby announcement shoot and it was so sweet! The day turned out to be so rainy and cold, but they totally killed it!
