From the very start of this session at Milliken field, I knew they were going to be a blast. Zach was full of jokes and I loved the playful energy between the two of them. We were lucky enough to get lots of glow for these two and ended up shooting well past sunset because we were having such a great time! Needless to say, after meeting them I am even more excited for their wedding this summer!

These two have been together for almost 10 years! They had both attended the same high school and played the same sports before finally being introduced by mutual friends. They are the sweetest and funniest couple, and I loved hearing their engagement story! Zach and Ashley have always enjoyed adventure and outdoor activities; hiking in particular. After his initial plan of proposing on a mountaintop failed to pan out, Zach turned to a more spontaneous approach. He and Ashley had decided to hike Looking Glass Rock and spur of the moment, Zach decided this was going to be the moment! He grabbed the ring as they packed and proposed when they were at the top. How sweet!

Everything about this session at Milliken field was beautiful! Ashley’s flowy blue dress, the lush greenery and the sun shining gave us a picture-perfect setup. While we were walking between spots I got to know Ashley and Zach a bit better. They are a laid-back couple with very easy-going personalities. Ashley is a teacher and Zachery is a doctor. After their wedding, they are going to take some time enjoying newlywed life while juggling a busy schedule. However, they told me they eventually hope to take a cross-country road trip as their honeymoon!
