After dating for 9 years, Ashley and Zachery’s families were both just itching for this wedding day to come. Talking to both of their parents and siblings revealed just how close these two families had become over the years. One of the most memorable (and emotional) moments from this South Carolina wedding was when Ashley’s dad read from a Mother’s Day card that Ashley had written when she was little. In it she told her mom that she wished she could live with her forever; but that she knew she couldn’t because one day she would have to get married and leave her parents. That simultaneously had everyone laughing and in tears. In addition, Ashley did a first look with her sisters and her dad, which was just the SWEETEST moment! His face when he saw her was priceless.

Ashley and Zachery are both known for their athletic prowess, love of sports and competitive spirits. I remember them telling me it was something they had in common when we shot their engagement session. They decided to share some of their love for competition by playing various games throughout the reception. They played the “Shoe Game” as well as a take on musical chairs + a scavenger hunt that had everyone laughing as guests raced to find objects and bring them back to a chair. To say that their day was filled with joy would be an understatement. From start to finish, this South Carolina wedding was special.

Ashley and Zac make a beautiful couple, I hope they stay as in love forever as they are now. The wedding was perfect and as beautiful as the bride I’m so glad I was a part of this. The wedding pictures are awesome. They will have these photos to remind them of their perfect day and you did a great job of capturing it.
