Bailey Bridal Session | Downtown Charleston

Portraits

May 22, 2023

Bailey showed up to her downtown bridal session and I immediately knew it was going to be a fun afternoon. Her mom and twin sister were with her and the three of them together was a blast! This was a rare occurrence where I had the opportunity to associate photograph a bridal session for my good friend Kylie Anne so I had never met Bailey before. However, she and her family were so easy-going and friendly, I felt like we were friends by the end of her session! I loved her simple, elegant gown paired with a long beaded veil. Statement pieces like that are such a fun way to add interest to a wedding gown that is more sleek and chic.

We started on Chalmer’s street for her downtown bridal session because who can resist that pink wall and those historic cobblestone streets! Towards the end of her session we hopped over to the university campus where she went to school for a few shots at the end. The light coming through the spanish moss on the campus grounds was to die for.

It had been a while since I had shot a bridal session and I forgot how much fun they are! I love to see brides excited for their upcoming wedding. Watching them admire their perfect dress and live this season to the fullest is the best! If you are considering doing a bridal session, this is your sign to say YES!
