When Caitlyn originally reached out to me about photographing their wedding, they were planning a big traditional ceremony and reception. They had picked out a date and a venue and were in the midst of getting everything booked. When she told me they had won a giveaway from their venue that included a photographer, I was a little bummed because they seemed like great people and I was excited to work with them! However, a couple months later, I received another email from Caitlyn stating that they had decided to elope and that they wanted to book me for their elopement! When I finally got to meet up with them for their engagement session, they were the absolute sweetest couple. Caitlyn is in school finishing up her degree in Psychology and working with children with autism, and Hudson works as a general contractor in the Carolinas. They met in their church youth group, which is so adorable, and got engaged late last year! Needless to say, I can’t wait for their ceremony on August 6th!
