This classy Southern wedding in Charleston, SC was seriously stunning from start to finish! But first… a funny story. Kylie Anne pulled up the address and realized we weren’t at the right spot. The GPS had taken us to the general area of the Admiral’s House, but there were numerous estates on the property. All of which looked like they could be wedding venues. In fact, right after we parked we saw a bride and groom outside a large white house and instantly panicked! We thought that something had been miscommunicated and our couple was already well-past getting ready! Thankfully, we were at the wrong house and eventually made it to the venue we were SUPPOSED to be at.

The Admiral’s House is aptly named because it did in-fact used to be where the Admiral of the Navy lived and it is now a historic building. The interior decor is BEAUTIFUL and gave off that old Southern estate vibe, which was the perfect backdrop for this classic wedding. Caroline and Sam are BOTH doctors, which is so impressive considering the long hours and stressful work they have to deal with twice. Despite the high-stakes jobs, these two were the sweetest people and had the most loving family and friends! The groom’s brother’s speech had everyone in tears as he spoke about how proud he was of his little brother. Caroline’s dad also told the sweetest story about how he knew Sam was special when he showed up to his date with Caroline holding a pair of earrings he had overheard her discussing with their waitress at lunch one day!

Caroline picked out her details for this wedding perfectly. I had the pleasure of photographing the bridal details and they were stunning! Everything she chose matched the theme of the day to a T. It was Southern elegance at its best. The soft blue/greens and cream colors had me swooning over this day from the start! I am a huge fan of bridal details and these did not disappoint. This wedding was definitely one for the books and I hope you enjoy scrolling through this gorgeous day!
