To say that it was a heck of a story to get to this engagement session is a bit of an understatement! I first met these two at their surprise proposal session this summer and they were a dream to work with! They’re such a fun-loving couple who can let loose and joke around. That’s my kind of people! I was so EXCITED to get to work with them again at their engagement session at Chattooga Belle Farm.

We first scheduled Hannah and Elijah’s engagement session at Chattooga Belle Farm for the middle of October. I was about 15 minutes away from the venue when I got a text and call from Hannah saying they wouldn’t be able to make it because they had just gotten in a car accident and were going to be held up with the police. Talk about a scary moment! Thankfully they were both okay and no-one was injured. So we re-scheduled their session for a month later and let me tell you what, SO worth it! The weather was beautiful (albeit a bit chilly) and the property was just acres of stunning landscapes! I could not have picked a more perfect day at a more perfect place for this beautiful couple!!

The funniest thing happened when I pulled up to the farm though. I saw tons of cars parked in their lot, which I thought was a bit odd for it being so late. It wasn’t until I walked up to the venue’s little shop that I heard people talking, and when I looked around the corner there was a wedding ceremony going on! Apparently I hadn’t realized someone was having a wedding that evening at the venue.. Luckily Chattooga Belle Farm is a massive piece of property and we were able to walk around to get some great photos without being in the way. This session was so much fun, I seriously cannot wait until next year for their wedding!
