Oh, the magic of autumn in the South! From the changing leaves to the cool breeze blowing off the mountains, South Carolina somehow becomes even more beautiful in the month of October. There is an exhilarating sense of romance in the air, and there’s nothing like the glowing faces of two young soulmates becoming one to enhance this cozy feeling. Hannah and Elijah’s South Wind Ranch wedding was simply gorgeous, leaving everyone grinning ear to ear from the infectious joy that radiates off of this sweet couple and their loved ones. So let your heart be inspired by the magic of this wedding gallery!

Hannah and Elijah have been together for over 9 years, since the 7th grade, when a middle school Elijah asked Hannah to be his girlfriend. They knew from the start that they were meant to be and their relationship only blossomed from there. They have gone through so much together over the years and have always stuck by each other’s side. When Elijah decided to propose during Hannah’s senior year at Clemson, he enlisted the help of her best friend, Anna Rhett, to assist him in finding a photographer and helping him plan the whole event! Check out their proposal session at Clemson. I then got to see them a second time for their engagement session at Chattooga Belle Farm where I got to know them even better!

Their wedding was held at South Wind Ranch in the countryside of Traveler’s Rest, South Carolina. This expansive property surrounded by open fields and lush trees is a wedding celebration paradise. The couple and their wonderful vendor team, filled the venue with greenery, white florals and touches of dusty blue and gold.

Hannah was an absolutely breathtaking bride, wearing a strapless tulle ballgown with billowing layers. Both she and Elijah were a bit nervous in the morning, which each of them confessed was out of the ordinary for them, but as soon as she tapped him on the shoulder and he turned around with the biggest smile on his face all of the nerves melted away. They had been back and forth on whether or not they wanted to do a first look, but afterwards they both confessed how glad they were that they decided to do it! The couple then exchanged letters in a private moment, setting the stage for their upcoming ceremony.

In the glowing sunlight, Hannah walked down the aisle with her mother in arm. Elijah couldn’t hold back the tears any longer as he cried, overcome with the emotion of watching the love of his life walk down the aisle. Through the ceremony they looked into each other’s eyes, taking in these precious moments as they began a new chapter of life together. As Hannah’s mother watched from the front row, a jacket laid on her chair as a memorial to Hannah’s late father, the magnitude of this moment was palpable. The couple exchanged rings and a kiss, and with their faces alight, walked up the aisle hand in hand.

The reception was a blast. The wedding party dined and mingled in the spacious barn and then danced the night away with twinkling lights overhead. The bride and groom sang along to their favorite songs with all of their favorite people and even shouted out a Clemson cheer or two. To close out an unforgettable evening, the guests were escorted outside for a sparkler exit as the newlyweds ran out, hands held high in celebration.

This was a night to remember! Congratulations to Hannah and Elijah!
